Michigan Square

Located on a beautifully tree-lined street in James Bay, Michigan Square is a redevelopment of the original 62-unit housing development owned by the Capital Region Housing Corporation since 1985.  The redevelopment includes the replacement of the three original buildings fronting Michigan Street with two 4-storey apartment buildings providing 97 new affordable rental units. Each home features open concept living spaces, large, bright windows, private balconies, 5 appliances (including dishwasher), tiled bathroom floors and kitchen backsplashes, and some units come with additional closet space. Cats are permitted on the 1st and 2nd floors only (no dogs allowed). Fees and/or deposits may apply – all pets must be spayed or neutered. The building is smoke free. The site is in close to James Bay and South Park Elementary schools, recreation areas Beacon Hill Park and Ogden Point as well as nearby transit and shopping centres.
